TART - Leelanau Trail connector opened in October 2004
You heard it correctly!! After years of negotiating easements and garnering support for the project, the TART and Leelanau trails is open. We would like to alert you of a temporary detour on the TART Trail near the Clinch Park Zoo and the Clinch Marina. TART has hired Leffring Masonry to construct a sculpture plaza. There is a marked detour to re-route trail users. The trail will be under construction for 2-3 weeks.
