We have lots of opportunities for you to get involved with TART and the Grand Traverse community.  Please consider lending a helping hand at the following events:

 

Downtown Halloween Walk on Friday October 30th (corner of Cass and Front Streets) 3-5 p.m.  Talk TART and handout trail information to children and their parents.

 

Zombie Run -Saturday October 31st - Warehouse District 8:30-10:00 a.m. Proceeds from this fun run/walk benefit TART.  The race organizers need help with day of event registrations, street crossings and timing.

 

Sno-Cone Kid's Race Saturday November 7th 2:45-3:30 at Timber Ridge.  Help organize the next generation of mountain bike racers into age categories, provide encouragement along the course and distribute awards afterward. You'll be able to catch the pro riders coming across the finish line too!

 

Nordic Night at Brick Wheels Wednesday November 18th 5:45-9:00 p.m. Talk about TART's winter grooming program and sell grooming badges.

 

Thanksgiving Turkey Trot 5K run.  Thursday November 26th - Warehouse District.  Race starts at 9:00 a.m.  TART and the YMCA are the beneficiaries of this year's event.  This is a great excuse to get out of the house and get some fresh air before feasting and football viewing with your family!

 

TART hosts Vasa Pathway Open Houses during January and February on Saturdays from 11-2.  We build a bonfire, serve warm beverages and home baked cookies to skiers and answer questions.  Dates are flexible - find a friend to join you and we'll coordinate the rest!
