TART creates trail program to connect generations- April 26 at 3:00 pm: We are partnering with Orchard Creek Assisted Living to take residents out on the Leelanau Trail for weekly scheduled trail outings. Volunteers interested in helping with this new program are asked to attend a short training session on Monday April 26^th at 3:00 p.m. at Orchard Creek. The weekly outings for residents will start in May (weather permitting).  We will be looking for volunteers on both Tuesdays and Wednesdays for the program length from May to early September. On Tuesdays at 4:00 p.m. residents from the skilled nursing will be taken out on the trail and on Wednesday mornings at 11:00 a.m. residents of assisted living will enjoy a 30 minute outing on the trail.
