The second public meeting to discuss progress on the Boardman Lake Trail Plan will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday July 30 in the cafeteria (lower level) of the City-County Government Center. The first meeting was held on February 21 to discuss the design and alignment of the east side trail. Subsequent to that meeting, a Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund Grant application was submitted by the city for construction of the east side trail.

The focus of the July 30 meeting will be the trail on the west side of the lake. We will review alternative trail locations and linkages and select the ones that best reflect the needs and desires of the Community. Progress and plans with respect to grant applications will also be presented by the consulting team of Gosling Czubak.

It is exciting to see this project evolve towards construction and we look forward to sharing the work to date. Please plan to attend this important meeting. Thank you.
