Thanks everyone for a great Smart Commute! This year was bigger than ever with 1470 commuters attended the free breakfasts, 650 commuter cup team members participated on 64 different teams and together averaged 26% smart commute participation among the workplaces participating. We estimate that over 60,000 miles were commuted 'smartly' during the week and prevented over 50,000 pounds of carbon dioxide emissions. Also 25 people attended the May 20 bike safety education handling class and we have started a waiting list of people who are interested in another class. Let us know if you'd like to be added!

We have had a request to keep the fun meals and camaraderie going all summer long. To provide a place to meet, and to thank our generous breakfast sponsors with some business, we are proposing a Tuesday Smart Commute breakfast/lunch each week. However TART's not picking up the tab any more.
