TART Trails is very excited to announce the public unveiling of our life-size bronze sculpture at Clinch Park on Thursday, November 10th at 4:00 pm. Please join us to celebrate this wonderful addition to our community.
The sculpture depicts an adult teaching a child to ride a bicycle and is titled, “Time to Let Goâ€. The artist is Verna Bartnick. We believe the sculpture will resonate with many. It is a very meaningful piece that creates a wonderful setting in which to recognize our trail supporters. The sculpture is located on the TART Trail in Clinch Park. To drive there, take Union Street north into the marina, and continue toward the boat launch.
The sculpture is the culmination of TART’s recent capital campaign in which TART raised funds, that, when combined with government grants, has funded the many trail projects built over the past 2 years.
We look forward to seeing you on Thursday.
