 You heard it correctly!! After years of negotiating easements and garnering support for the project, the TART and Leelanau trails is open. The interconnection of the Leelanau Trail with the TART Trail, now provides a 23-mile continuous trail for area bicyclists, walkers, runners and outdoor enthusiasts.
The Grand Traverse County Road Commission has engineered this project and hired Elmer's as the contractor. The project is part of a MDOT funded 3-phase trail endeavor. |
