Traverse Area Recreation and Transportation (TART) Trails is very excited to announce the addition of a life-size bronze sculpture in Clinch Park. The sculpture was unveiled to a crowd of art aficionados, trail supporters and area residents on Thursday, November 10th at 4:00 pm.

The sculpture depicts an adult teaching a child to ride a bicycle and is titled, “Time to Let Go”. The artist is Verna Bartnick and the sculpture was cast by T.J. Carroll. TART commissioned this sculpture which is the culmination of our recent capital campaign. The capital campaign raised money for the many trail projects now getting built.

Directions to new sculpture: The sculpture is located on the TART Trail in Clinch Park (near the marina and boat launch). To drive there, take Union Street north into the marina (it turns into Marina Drive) and continue toward the boat launch.
