Plans are rapidly coming together for the return of the VASA Sprints for the first time in a decade. This year, we will hold the Sprints on Sunday afternoon February 8 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. The course will be a three lap oval covering approximately a half of a kilometer and will involve a two heat elimination. Depending on the number of racers, the format will be either a team relay or individuals. The course will be directly behind the InsideOut Gallery at 211 Garland in the historic Warehouse District of downtown Traverse City. The race is conducted by the North American Vasa and sponsored by Right Brain Brewery, NM3 Northern Michigan Men's Magazine, Inside Out Gallery, Cuppa Joe Warehouse Lounge, Brick Wheels and other local business owners.
