Registration in Traverse City: Volunteers are needed to assist with event day-of registration
4 people needed from 5:00-6:30pm
Traverse City intersections: Volunteers are needed to stand at the intersection and let riders know how to cross these busy intersections. Some riders may have questions on the route. Detailed instructions explaining the nuances of each crossing will be emailed to the volunteer.
2 people needed from 4:00-6:45pm- TART Trail/ Front Street crossing
2 people needed from 4:00-6:45pm- TART Trail/ Division crossing
2 people needed from 4:00-7:15pm- Leelanau Trail/Cherry Bend s-curve crossing
Caboose open house: Volunteers are needed to man the historic caboose
2 people needed from 4:15-7:30pm- Leelanau Trail Caboose/Carter Road
Set up in Suttons Bay: Volunteers are needed to set up chairs and tables in Suttons Bay.
2 people needed from 4:30-6:00pm
Suttons Bay bike loading: Volunteers are needed to intercept all riders when they dismount their bike. Bikes will be loaded onto a truck that will deliver the bikes back to the start in TC.
2 people needed from 5:30-9:30pm
Food in Suttons Bay: Volunteers are needed to help with the dinner buffet line in Suttons Bay.
4 people needed from 5:45-9:00pm to assist with food service and make sure riders fill out event survey
Suttons Bay 4:00pm shuttle bus for Leelanau area residents: Offered to pre-registered riders, a shuttle bus will leave SB at 4:00pm and drop riders off at event check-in. Riders can then ride the trail back to Suttons Bay. A volunteer is needed to check that all riders who signed up for the shuttle are on the bus and assist with loading bikes on the truck (that will follow the bus).

Traverse City Bike Corral/ Bike Unloading: Volunteers are needed at the EuroStop Deli location (in the Depot building) and wait for trucks to arrive full with bikes, unload and monitor the corral. Pizza will be provided to the volunteers!
4 people needed from 7:00-10:00 pm in Traverse City
Cookie bakers: We are looking for several cookie bakers to volunteer to each bake a batch of cookies and drop them off at our office located at 415 S Union St. We would need the cookies delivered sometime between 9-5 pm on Aug 4th, 5th or 6th. The 500 hungry cyclists will greatly appreciate it!
3) Leelanau Trail Workbee- July 25- We are hosting a trail work bee on the Leelanau Trail at Fort Road on Saturday, July 25 from 9:00 am - noon, to do some maintenance on the north end of the trail. Volunteers will be spreading cutting back overgrowth, weed-wacking around some newly planted seedlings, removing trash and in general, sprucing up the trail in preparation for Tour de TART. Volunteers are asked to bring your own tools (loppers, pruning tools, power weed-wackers, work gloves, etc). Work bee to take place rain or shine.
