In May, three long-term board members stepped off the TART Board because of term limits. George Lombard, June Thaden and Dave Monstrey were all founding members of the TART Trails, Inc. board when the four trails combined in 1998. We recently honored these three very dedicated individuals at a TART Trails picnic. George, June and Dave were presented with volunteer service plaques. Clearly, without the service of these three very devoted civil servants, the trail system in the greater Traverse City area would not be where it is today. If you see George, June or Dave, please make sure to thank them for their hard work and dedication over the years. We sure do appreciate it!
